I have known György Jozipovics - or Jozi, as he is known to those close to him - for nearly twenty years. He was first my art teacher, later became my spiritual mentor, and over the years our relationship has grown into a friendship. Jozi has a remarkable ability to genlty shift one’s perspective, encouraging us to see ourselves and the world through different eyes. With kindness and quiet determination, he holds up a mirror to anyone willing to look. In recent years he has published his book The Secrets of Consciussness Through My Own Eyes, launched a podcast, and regularly shares short essays. If I had to describe him in a single phrase, I would borrow one of the Enneagram’s fundamental character descriptions: a mystic philosopher. I am grateful to know him.
Threshold is a series of photographs created between studio and forest environments. The images emerged from recurring visual motifs and intuitive associations, tracing an uncertain space between the human figure and the natural world.
Bence and I work in the same co-working space, where the idea first came to me to make a portrait series of him. It was then that he told me about an upcoming Konkoi concert, and the photo session eventually took place in his studio. The images were made during an intense creative period, in the weeks leading up to the performance.
I have known Kriszti for more than ten years. We first met on a photo shoot, and since then we have remained recurring figures in each other’s lives. As both an architect and a photographer, she observes the world around her with remarkable sensitivity. In recent years, we have made a habit of having breakfast together every few months in a café on the Buda side of the city.
This small photo series was made with Sára Bálint, whom I’ve known for nearly fifteen years. We met as close friends in the studio (and beyond) for these images to come to life. Sára designs and creates wedding dresses under her own brand, Bridalwear – her work is defined by sensitivity, clarity, and a deep sense of personal attention.
Tünde Újszászi is a visual artist working with large-scale woven installations and painting series. Her practice explores the illusion of permanence and the constantly changing nature of our surroundings, with a strong focus on materiality, spatial presence, and the perception of time. Her works investigate how forms emerge, occupy space, and reflect a desire to grasp and hold onto the transient.

Since 2013 I have been regularly documenting the larger-scale installation works of artist Tünde Újszászi. The series includes projects such as The Black Rectangle, Difference, and Sphere.
This photographic project was created in collaboration with fashion designer Endre Fazekas. The work reflects on the dual nature of filth: it may appear merely as a thin, insignificant layer on the surface, yet it can also permeate the atmosphere of a place and the gestures surrounding it. Within this shifting perception, the presence of filth reveals the possibility for the emergence of an unexpected aesthetics.
This project combines a photographic series with a short conceptual fashion video structured around an interview with the model featured in the images.
“I am a tenth grade pupil at a modelling fashion school where we design clothes, and I am very interested in this, fashion design, and fashion, drawing as well…”

This project presents a short excerpt from an entirely analogue photographic series created for accessory designer Orsolya Poppre’s shoe collection developed within the Kozma Lajos Applied Arts Scholarship (2013–2014). The photographs feature Mária Glázer as the model, whose presence and character provide a human context for the objects. Today, Poppre works primarily as a visual artist.
This short analogue series was created in collaboration with the Hungarian brand Ille-Olla on the southern shore of Lake Balaton during a freezing winter day. Rather than a commissioned fashion project, the images form an atmospheric authorial study of landscape, wind, and presence.
